About our glazing products

Warm Space Bar Technology

Our high-performance warm edge spacer bar systems significantly improve thermal performance compared to aluminium spacer bars, to reduce thermal conductivity, lower heat loss through windows and improve glass unit insulation energy efficiency. Our highly insulating warm edge spacer bars help maximise the thermal performance in our finished window products and help you save money on your energy bills.

Why you need Warm Edge Spacer Bar Technology?

• Drastically improve the energy efficiency of your glass units.
• Maximise thermal performance.
• Reduce the risk of condensation.
• Reduce home energy consumption.

Argon Filled double glazing

Argon is perfect for high quality double glazed windows, homeowners and commercial customers should look for argon-filled units over air-filled ones where possible, we’ll briefly explain why below.

The space between the two panes of glass in double glazed windows can be filled simply with air, or a gas can be injected in to it. Air-filled windows are the cheaper option, and do provide a certain level of energy efficiency and noise reduction. But argon-filled double glazing is a better investment for long-term energy efficiency and performance.

Argon is an inert gas and is quite nonreactive, ensuring windows will stay effective for longer. Oxygen is found in air and can cause rust and corrosion in metal parts, meaning the windows become less efficient over the years.

Argon is more viscous than air, meaning that molecular movement is stopped to reduce heat transfer and heat loss which also helps to prevent against condensation offering better heat retention in your home, help to lower energy bills and provide longevity for a better return on your investment.

Planitherm Glass

Planitherm is a neutral thermal coating which reflects heat back into the home, while allowing the sun´s natural heat and light to radiate through the windows. This will save you money and help to conserve the world´s resources at the same time. The Energy Saving Trust, together with the Glass and Glazing Federation, estimate the typical 3-bedroom semi will usually save up to around 22%. While every house is different, those are substantial savings which can be re-invested in other home improvements to further increase the energy efficiency of your home. Planitherm also reduces draughts through the glass, making it comfortable to sit near the window on those bright but cold winter days.

• Planitherm glass is hermetically sealed into the window, and so last the lifetime of the window
• By reducing solar heat from the outside and reflecting more heat back into the room, temperature control is actually easier with Planitherm
• The carbon used to produce one metre square of Planitherm glass will be recovered in 3.5 months of use if replacing single-glazed windows. If you already have double-glazing, the time goes up to 10.5 months, making this a very green product and an ideal choice for your property.

Integral Blinds

If you are looking for new double glazed windows for your home, why not consider buying double glazing with integral blinds.
The popularity of double glazing with integral blinds is increasing, and there are many advantages to selecting this type of window dressing.
Integral blinds offer an alternative to traditional blinds or curtains that are neat and come in a range of styles to choose from. The integral blind will be either a Venetian or pleated blind that sits perfectly between the double-glazed panes of glass in the sealed unit.

What are Integral Blinds

Commonly referred to as Interstitial Blinds, Blinds in Glass and Integrated Blinds, an Integral Blind refers to a sealed glass unit that has a blind sealed in-between. Our Integral Blinds or windows with built in blinds can be operated magnetically or in a motorised electric system. We supply the unit as a whole, a blind sealed between two panes of glass as a double or triple glazed unit.
Our Integral Blinds can be retrofitted into your existing window/door frames, your old glass units simply need to be popped out and replaced with our high tech Integral Blinds. We can also supply new windows frames with Integral Blinds, we offer window frames in uPVC, Aluminium or Timber.

Magnetic Integral Blinds

Our most common system is our magnetic system which is controlled by two small discreet controls which sit on the face of the glass. The controls sit on the face of the perimeter of the glass, and can either be on the left or right hand side. One of the control blocks operates the raising and lowering of the blind, sliding the control up and down the glass in turn raises and lowers the blind inside the unit. The second control block operates the tilt function, sliding the control up and down the glass tilts the blind open and closed.
With integral blinds you have the same functionality as a conventional blind, in the sense that you can leave your blind halfway down and have it tilted open slightly, or which ever other variation pleases you.

The Benefits

• Dust free, hygienic and maintenance free
• Help regulate energy bills
• Maintain privacy whilst allowing light in
• Ideal in rooms where blinds could get wet, such as kitchens and bathrooms
• 5-year guarantee
• Easy to operate with our enhanced Magnetic system
• Cannot be physically touched, therefore cannot become damaged
• Safe from children and pets, as they do not pose a safety risk
